Boring Sunday turned to Quick Hangout

I was feeling bored staying home alone the whole day.  I knocked to my close colleague group "Super-Four".  "SUPER-FOUR" the small gang of colleagues work together in Yangon. They find themselves super because they find themselves happy together.  It consists of Ma Pa Pa, MeeMee, Sandar and Me. I asked them, if they were also passing the whole day at home. It was good to see, they also wanted to come out of home this evening. We planned to meet at Myanmar Plaza. MeeMee couldn't joined because she had to prepare for their Christmas Program in coming week. We arrived to Myanmar Plaza at around 5:45 PM.

Looking at some books, reading magazines. Then we moved for dinner to 3rd floor.


- "What did you cook this afternoon?"
- "Two Egg Fry"
- "Me too" ...hihi
I and Sandar was talkiing about lunch. She also a bit lazy to cook in weekend. Egg is always the quickest solution for bachelors.

Ma Pa Pa had dinner already. She took dinner at 5:00 PM. Yes, it's too early but its very normal in Myanmar. So, I and Sandar was hungry and we moved for lunch to 3rd floor.

I love to eat dinner at Food City. We choose vegetables and some mushroom and told them to serve as soup with little spicy. 

Before we moved to 3rd floor for dinner, I had a plan to show them 4th floor of Myanmar Plaza. They have never been there, so they were also curious to see that. When we went to 4th floor by elevator, they were pleased to see the floor. It was nicely decorated. I showed them the 4th floor and also described them how this floor is very lively place every Friday night.


At 7:40 PM we finished dinner and came out from Myanmar Plaza. We passed the road (towards Inya Lake) so that Sandar take the bus for Hleden. But Ma Pa Pa took us to Inya Lake walkway to take some photos.

Thursday, 26-Dec-2019, at Nay Pyi Taw. I attended one of my Myanmar friend Mg Thaw Zin's wedding ceremony at Nay Pyi Taw, the capital of Union of Myanmar. He married Ma Su Ei Phyo.  I write this blog to capture and describe the culture of a traditional wedding program of Myanmar. On 25th December 2019 (Wednesday), I travelled from Yangon by bus and reached Nay Pyi Taw at 4:45AM. It was 15°C at that time here and I was not prepared for it. By 40-50 minutes, Aung Kyaw arrived at bus stop and picked me to Mg Thaw Zin's house. I changed my dress there and arrived at the wedding ceremony venue at 7:15AM. Story of a Coconut and a Durian

Once upon a time, a very beautiful, glamorous and cute Durian stayed in a very wonderful country. She never thought that a Coconut would come from another country and fall in love with Durian. The coconut was thinking day and night  how to tell Durian how much love he has for Durian in his mind. One day, Coconut asked Durian, "do you like coconut?". Durian said, she doesn't like coconut, she like "Mango " . "Mango is Durian's colleague. Mango is very good looking, smart, intellectual, and everyone wants to be friends of a Mango." Evening Walk to Ramen Shop

I and my wife Sithee, both are now maintaining healthy diet. The problem with unusual diet is the uncertain cravings that takes you away from your advised diet suddenly, specially when it’s evening.  We should walk every evening, we do that some times. Our walk ended at the famous Ramen Shop  “Kettle Cafe”. This shop has enough space with 25 people seating capacity.  Food tastes really good. We ordered two Korean Rumen Bowl (slightly different but both were with Chicken, Tofu, and eggs).  I liked it. Sithee was not happy with the bowl I had. She thought I could choose something different like the one with glass noodles. But it’s ok.
